   The major of Chinese Language and Literature (direction of drama, film and television literature) of Lanzhou University is based on the intersection of art and literature, which explores the principles and laws of the production, creation and development of film, television and drama literature. This major was founded in 2002. Although young, it has deep roots. In the late 1950s, Lanzhou University once set up the Major of Drama and Literature, and later merged into the Major of Chinese Language and Literature, but the teaching and research of drama, film and television literature has never been interrupted, and it has formed its own characteristics. In the field of Chinese classical opera and drama research, Ning Xiyuan and Ye Kaiyuan are widely praised for their academic achievements. In film and television studies, Wu Xiaomei, Li Dayao and others have made outstanding achievements; Zhao Jianxin's collection and research on "shadow drama" in Southeast Gansu has opened up a new field of drama and drama research. In 2002, the Department of Drama, Film and Television Literature was approved by the Ministry of Education and officially enrolled. In 2005, it was approved for a master's degree in "Drama and Chinese Opera". In 2017, we dynamically adjusted and constructed the master's degree of art theory.
