The Training Meeting and Class Exchange Meeting of the Chinese International Education Master's Teaching Skills Competition was Held by The School of Chinese Languages and Literatures, Lanzhou University

     In order to better improve the teaching skills of students in Chinese International Education major and enhance their comprehensive abilities in all-round aspects, the Chinese International Education Center of the School of Chinese Languages and Literatures held a pre-competition guidance training meeting in classroom A510, Tianshan Hall, Yuzhong campus on the afternoon of October 19th. Teacher Guo Maoquan gave a lecture on "Teaching Design and Classroom Management of Mini-Chinese Class", and all the master students of Grade 2021 participated in the training.

    During the training, Mr. Guo Maoquan gave a detailed and in-depth explanation from five aspects: the concept of mini-Chinese class, lecture preparation, lecture plan design, teaching process and classroom management. In addition, Mr. Guo introduced the form, links and requirements of the competition to the students, analyzed relevant competition cases, and put forward some suggestions for preparing for the competition combined with his years of experience in organizing competitions.

    The pre-competition guidance and training conference further deepened the students' understanding of the Chinese International Teachers' Teaching Skills Competition and pointed out the follow-up preparation direction for the students, enhanced their confidence in participating in the teaching skills competition. Mr. Guo also hoped that students can seize this opportunity, enjoy the competition, show themselves, and improve their comprehensive ability in the competition.

    After the training, all students of Grade 2021 held a class exchange meeting in A605, Tianshan Hall. The class meeting discussed the problems encountered by students in their study and life, and advocated that everyone can get out of the dormitory and experience campus life better. Xi Xiaofei, the class teacher of Grade 2021, made specific arrangements for the Chinese International Teacher Skills Competition, and encouraged students to treat the competition with a positive and optimistic attitude.
